Comal County, TX – Jason Cantu & Magdalena Hernandez Killed in SH-46 Crash
Comal County, TX (July 19, 2019) – On July 18, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on State Highway 46 near Guadalupe State Park.
According to reports, a 2014 Ford F-250 pickup truck was traveling east along State Highway 46 when, for unknown reasons, it entered into the westbound lane and collided with a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro and a 2013 Buick Enclave.
The Ford F-250 then went on to collide head-on with a 2016 Hyundai Accent, which was then rear-ended by a 2015 Toyota Camry.
Two individuals involved in the collision, 42-year-old Jason Cantu and 21-year-old Magdalena Hernandez, sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The 50-year-old male driver of the Buick was transported to University Hospital in stable condition.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
