Grimes County, TX – UPDATE – Daryl Brooks Killed In FM 244 Crash
Grimes County, TX (July 19, 2019) – On July 18, at approximately 4 p.m., police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 344 near State highway 90.
Reports from authorities state that an 18-wheeler was making a left turn into a private driveway when it was rear-ended by a vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, who was later identified as 44-year-old Daryl Brooks, sustained serious injuries and was transported via medical helicopter to a hospital in Bryan.
Authorities later confirmed that Mr. Brooks succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
