Motorcycle Accidents in Texas
In 2017, almost 500 motorcyclists were killed after being involved in motorcycle accidents throughout Texas. Most motorcycle accidents happen because of drivers not noticing motorcyclists on the road. When vehicles strike motorcyclists late at night, the cause is often negligence, which typically includes driving under the influence, falling asleep at the wheel, or looking down at an electronic device. Because it’s so easy to knock motorcyclists off of their bikes since motorcycles are smaller and don’t contain seatbelts, it makes it easier for riders to sustain really serious injuries.
