Houston, TX – Two Sheriffs Injured & One Passenger Killed In Crash On Westpark Drive
Houston, TX (July 22, 2019) – On July 22nd, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the area of 13199 Westpark Drive near Synott in Houston.
According to reports, a drunk driver crashed head-on with a transport unit from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. The two officers inside the vehicle were injured and transported to local hospitals for treatment.
The prisoner who was being transported by the officers sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
The driver of the second vehicle involved was uninjured and arrested for driving under the influence.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
