Temple, TX – Injuries Sustained in Eight Vehicle Crash On I-35
Temple, TX (July 22, 2019) – At approximately 1:40 p.m. on July 21st, the Temple Police and fire crews responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on Interstate 35 near exit 301.
When emergency crews arrived on the scene, they found eight vehicles had collided on the interstate. The force of the impact caused one semi-truck to crash into the center retaining wall before it burst into flames.
Two people were injured in the accident and transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries sustained in the accident.
Crews worked diligently to clear the scene of the incident and were able to reopen the interstate just after 9 p.m.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
