Waco, TX – Sheriff Deputy Hurt In West Waco Drive Crash
Waco, TX (July 23, 2019) – On July 22, just before 5:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on West Waco Drive near New Road.
According to reports, a McLennan County Sheriff’s Deputy was traveling along the roadway when it collided with an SUV that made an unsafe turn in the roadway.
The deputy was injured in the collision and transported to an area hospital with back problems and other injuries.
The female driver of the SUV refused medical attention at the scene.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
