Panola County, TX – Crash On Highway 79 Results In Fatal Injuries
Panola County, TX (July 24, 2019) – On July 23, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 79 South, just east of Farm Road 959 at approximately 9:30 a.m.
Reports from DPS indicate that two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles sustained heavy front-end damage. The two occupants of this vehicle were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
The second vehicle involved caught on fire, resulting in fatal injuries for the driver.
At this time the incident remains under investigation.
