Tyler County, TX – Woman Killed & Man Injured In US 190 Collision
Tyler County, TX (July 24, 2019) – On July 23, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US 190 near the Tyler County Airport around 3:30 p.m.
Reports indicate that a female driver was traveling down US 190 in a 2004 Toyota sedan when her vehicle crossed over the center lane. As the vehicle passed through to the opposite lane, it collided head-on with a 2009 Chevrolet pickup truck.
The woman sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
The driver of the pickup, later identified a 50-year-old Jeffrey Watson, was seriously injured and transported via medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
