Waco, TX – Crash On State Highway 31 Results In Fatal Injuries
Waco, TX (July 26, 2019) – On July 25, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on State Highway 31 near Heritage Parkway just north of Axtell.
According to reports, a pickup truck was traveling south along Highway 31 when the driver of an SUV pulled out in front of the vehicle. The pickup truck was unable to stop and, as a result, the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the SUV and a passenger in the pickup truck both sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck was seriously injured and airlifted to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
