Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accidents
Over 700,000 hit-and-run accidents happen every year throughout the nation. Most of the time hit-and-run accidents occur overnight when drivers think that they are less likely to be caught by witnesses or authorities. Sadly, when these types of accidents happen in the middle of the night, the cause is often drivers being under the influence, fatigued, or distracted. Because pedestrians don’t walk around wearing body shields, they’re highly susceptible to injuries that could range from minor to fatal.
