El Paso, TX (July 28, 2019) On the morning of July 28th, a fatal two-car crash happened on the Interstate 10 East, not far from the Piedras exit. A black SUV and a silver two-door vehicle collided on the highway overnight. The impact of the crash caused the SUV to roll over before coming to a stop. The accident happened right after 2:00 a.m.

When emergency crews arrived, they found at least one person dead at the scene as a result of the accident. Crews shut down the lanes of the highway as they removed the damaged vehicles and investigated the scene. The lanes reopened at around 11:50 a.m.

The crash is still being investigated by authorities.
