Shelby County, TX – 2 Killed in Fatal Vehicle Accident on U.S. 59

Shelby County, TX (July 28, 2019) On the morning of July 28th, a fatal vehicle accident happened on U.S. 59, about one mile north of Timpson. A semi-truck that was unable to control its speed rear-ended the back of a passenger vehicle that was traveling northbound in the outside lane of the highway. The accident took place at around 11:45 a.m.

When emergency responders arrived at the scene, they found two occupants inside of the passenger vehicle with fatal injuries. They have been identified as 62-year-old Yolanda Enene and 80-year-old Joyce Bryan. The driver of the semi-truck, 28-year-old Yakul Snoi, did not sustain injuries.

The authorities are currently investigating the collision to determine fault and liability.
