Lufkin, TX – Two-Car Crash Causes Injuries on FM 2109
Lufkin, TX (August 3, 2019) On the afternoon of August 2nd, a two-car crash happened at the intersection of FM 2109 and Robinson Lane. Two vehicles collided at the intersection at around 4:25 p.m. The impact of the collision left at least one person trapped in one of the vehicles.
When emergency personnel arrived, they immediately removed all of the injured victims from the damaged vehicle. They provided immediate medical attention and then rushed the victims to the closest hospital available.
Crews helped remove the damaged vehicles out of the intersection to prevent a major traffic jam.
Authorities are still investigating the accident to determine why the two cars collided.
