San Antonio, TX – I-37 Pedestrian Accident Victim ID’d As Eleuterio Rueles
San Antonio, TX (August 16, 2019) – Reports from authorities indicate that on Thursday, August 15, a male pedestrian was running across Interstate 37, just after midnight.
Once the male reached the area of the 1700 block of Interstate 37, near Carolina Street, he was struck by a motor vehicle. After being struck by a vehicle the first time, and thrown into the road, the male was struck by several other vehicles.
The male victim, who was later identified as 36-year-old Eleuterio Rueles, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At least one driver returned to the scene after the incident.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
