UPDATE: West, TX – Luis Pina-Narvaez Killed In Fatal Collision On I-35

West, TX (August 18, 2019) On the evening of August 16th, a fatal collision happened on the Interstate 35 freeway. A man driving a Chevrolet collided with a pickup truck towing a trailer as it was merging into the middle lanes. Shortly after, a vehicle then crashed into the back of the Chevrolet. Upon impact, reporters claim that the vehicles involved caught on fire. The accident happened shortly before 11:00 p.m.

When the paramedics, fire department, and police arrived, they found the Chevrolet trapped under the pickup truck and the trailer. Sadly, the driver was trapped inside of the Chevrolet as it caught on fire and did not survive. He has been identified as Luis Pina-Narvaez. Fortunately, the driver inside of the vehicle that rear-ended the Chevrolet was able to escape.

Authorities are still investigating to determine what led up to the fatal accident.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim Luis Pina-Narvaez at this time.
