Midland, TX – Victim Of Hwy 158 Collision Identified
Midland, TX (August 21, 2019) – On August 19, at approximately 6:40 a.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on State Highway 158 near Farm to Market Road 1379.
The accident occurred when a Hyundai Accent and a Ford F-250 collided along the roadway. The driver of the Hyundai, who was identified as 15-year-old Jenna J. Bird a sophomore from the Greenwood High School, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two other occupants of the Hyundai were injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
