Spicewood, TX – Man Injured At Construction Site On Bee Creak Rd

Spicewood, TX (August 24, 2019) On the afternoon of August 24th, a work accident happened at a construction site in the 4200 block of Bee Creek Road. A man in his 20’s was working when a piece of steel hit him and caused him to fall 20 feet. The accident took place around 1:30 p.m.

When the Pedernales Fire Department and other emergency crews arrived, they found the injured worker on the third level and used a rope to extricate him. He was immediately taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.

Authorities are running an investigation to determine why the accident occurred.

Our thoughts are with the injured construction worker and his family at this time.
