Abilene, TX – Head-On Crash on N 18th St Hospitalizes 5 People

Abilene, TX (August 28, 2019) – Around 4 p.m. on August 28, emergency crews were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on North 18th Street near the intersection of Mockingbird Lane.

According to reports, a black pickup truck and a vehicle collided along the roadway. The impact of the collision sent the pickup careening toward a USPS delivery truck, which it collided with head-on.

Four children inside the pickup truck, as well as the driver, were all injured in the collision.

The five victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment.

No one inside the second vehicle or the USPS truck were injured.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
