Arlington, TX – Two Firefighters Hurt in Fire on Arkansas Lane
Arlington, TX (August 28, 2019) – On August 26, emergency crews responded to the scene of a major apartment fire at approximately 4:30 p.m.
According to reports, the Springfield Crossing Apartments, located on Arkansas Lane, burst into flames, engulfing twelve units in the complex.
Over sixty firefighters responded to the scene to extinguish the fire.
In all, the fire resulted in a loss of 12 apartment buildings, displacing 30 residences, and causing the building to remain off-limits to occupants.
Two firefighters were injured while working on the fire. One worker was provided medical attention at the scene. The second firefighter was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
