Dallas, TX – Dump Truck Crash on Lawson Rd Results in Fatal Injuries
Dallas, TX (October 1, 2019) – At approximately 4:15 p.m. on September 30th, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Lawson Road.
According to reports, a dump truck was traveling along Lawson Road when it crossed over the train tracks near Scyene Road.
As the vehicle crossed over, it was struck by an Amtrak train.
The train proceeded along the railway, pushing the dump truck about ½-mile down the tracks.
The 22-year-old driver of the dump truck sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
