El Paso, TX – 16-Year-Old Dies in N Mesa St Crash

El Paso, TX (October 1, 2019) – At approximately 10:40 p.m. on September 28th, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on North Mesa St.

According to reports, 18-year-old Daniel Tohme Posada was traveling south along the roadway in a Mercedes when his vehicle collided with a Volkswagen Jetta driven by 24-year-old Omar Granados.

Three occupants of the Mercedes, as well as Posada, were transported to University Medical Center in El Paso immediately after the incident.

Authorities later confirmed that one victim inside the Mercedes, a 16-year-old male, later succumbed to his injuries.

At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
