Lower Valley, TX – Hector Leyva Succumbs to Injuries from Alameda Ave Crash

Lower Valley, TX (October 3, 2019) – On October 2nd, just after 2 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Alameda Avenue.

According to reports, 59-year-old Hector Leyva was traveling east along Alameda Avenue when he was struck by a motor vehicle near Fresno Drive.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to render aid.

Leyva was transported to Del Sol Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

Authorities later confirmed that Leyva succumbed to his injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
