Bicycle Accidents in Texas
In 2014, about 50,000 fatal bicycle accidents happened throughout the United States. Sadly, most bicycle accidents could be avoided since they result from a driver’s inattention. When drivers look down at their cell phone right before switching lanes, they are more likely to accidentally strike bicyclists. Because bicyclists expect drivers to be alert on the road, they may try to squeeze in between vehicles, which puts them at a higher risk of getting hit.
Injured bicyclists may be able to file personal injury lawsuits against negligent drivers as long as they were not at fault for the accident.
At The Benton Law Firm, we have experienced Texas personal injury attorneys who have spent years assisting injured bicyclists with their lawsuits. Our attorneys have successfully proved negligence claims against liable drivers and helped our clients receive large settlements to cover medical expenses and more.
