Hit-and-Run Car Accidents in Texas
Nearly 1 million hit-and-run accidents happen annually throughout the country, and many of them occur overnight when drivers are more likely to be under the influence. Drunk drivers are less likely to stop after causing an accident due to their incoherence and inability to control their vehicles. If drivers are not under the influence at the time of the crash and still fail to stop, they’re likely criminals trying to avoid the consequences of their negligent actions.
