Bastrop, TX – 4-Year-Old Girl Killed in Pedestrian Accident on TX-95
Bastrop, TX (October 7, 2019) – On October 7, emergency crews responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on State Highway 95.
According to reports from the Bastrop Police Department, around 5:30 p.m. on October 5, a 4-year-old female child was walking in the parking lot in front of a parked vehicle in the 2200 block of TX-95.
The driver of the vehicle, who did not see the child, pulled the vehicle forward and struck the child from behind.
The child was transported to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
