Irving, TX – Hernan Murillo Killed in Accident at Frito-Lay Located on N Wildwood Dr
Irving, TX (October 8, 2019) – On October 4, at approximately 1 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a workplace accident at the Frito-Lay plant located on North Wildwood Drive.
According to reports, three employees were performing a task at the location while utilizing two scissor lifts. The workers’ vehicles collided, causing the employees to fall 20-to-30-feet from the machine.
One of the victims involved in the incident, identified as Hernan Murillo, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two other workers suffered serious injuries and were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
