Pittsburg, TX – Jason Ray Gilmore Killed in Crash on TX-179 Loop
Pittsburg, TX (October 11, 2019) – On Thursday, October 10, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Loop 179.
According to reports, 27-year-old Joseph Michael Agundiz was traveling along Loop 179 in a pickup truck when he failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of County Road 2106.
As a result, Agundiz’s vehicle collided with 43-year-old Jason Ray Gilmore, who was traveling along the roadway on a motorcycle.
Gilmore sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Agundiz was later arrested for intoxication manslaughter and tampering with evidence.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
