Ector County, TX – Kylie Thompson Killed in Head-On Collision on Loop 338

Ector County, TX (October 12, 2019) On the morning of October 10th, emergency crews received a call regarding a head-on collision that took place on Loop 338. According to reports, a woman was driving a Ford Explorer on Loop 338 when her vehicle veered into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with an oncoming Peterbilt truck-tractor. The accident happened around 6:18 a.m.

When paramedics arrived, they found the woman driving the Ford, deceased at the scene. She has been identified as 26-year-old Kylie Thompson of Midland. The truck driver sustained injuries and was rushed to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa for treatment.

The police are currently investigating the fatal collision.
