Pecos County, TX – US Highway 285 Crash Results in Fatal Injuries
Pecos County, TX (October 14, 2019) – At approximately 11 a.m. on October 12, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 285.
According to reports, 69-year-old Vernon L Roberts was traveling south along the highway in a 2020 Kenworth truck-tractor towing a semi-trailer when his vehicle collided head-on with a 2017 Chevrolet Suburban after the driver of the Suburban crossed his vehicle over the center lines.
Roberts sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
