Red River County, TX – Three Killed in Workplace Accident near CR 1410

Red River County, TX (October 14, 2019) – At approximately 7 p.m. on October 12, emergency crews from Paris, Red River County, and Longview responded to the scene of a workplace accident at a gated property near the intersection of County Rd 1410 and County Rd 1436.

According to reports, a team of workers was performing duties of their job at an underground bunker located at a deer camp in the area when an explosion occurred.

Three workers were trapped underground and unable to be located for some time.

Shortly before midnight on October 12, authorities confirmed that the bodies of the three missing workers were recovered.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
