Tomball, TX – Elderly Woman Suffers Abuse in Grace Care Northpointe Center on Northpointe Blvd
Tomball, TX (October 16, 2019) – A 93-year-old victim suffered extensive abuse at the Grace Care Northpointe Center in Tomball.
On October 4, it came to light that a nursing home employee was fired after being investigated for abusing a 93-year-old patient.
Reports from authorities indicate that an elderly patient at the nursing home reported to her daughter that she was being abused while staying in the nursing home. The daughter of the elderly woman hid a camera inside the room to determine the extent of abuse taking place.
Upon reviewing the recordings, it was noted that a worker at the location roughed up the elderly patient, struck her several times, and was verbally abusive toward her. The elderly woman groaned several times and begged to be let loose.
The care provider was permanently removed from the facility. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
