Wichita Falls, TX – Worker Injured in Accident at YMCA on Stone Lake Dr
Wichita Falls, TX (October 16, 2019) – A major fall at the Bill Bartley Branch of the YMCA left one person seriously injured.
On October 14, emergency crews responded to the scene of a workplace accident on Bartley Drive (Stone Lake Drive).
According to reports, a construction worker was performing the duties of his job while utilizing a scissor-lift at the YMCA. While working, the machine toppled over, causing the man to fall between 30 and 40-feet to the ground.
The worker sustained extensive lower extremity injuries and was rushed to United Regional for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
