San Antonio, TX – Worker Killed in Industrial Accident on W Hutchins Place

San Antonio, TX (October 18, 2019) – An early morning incident left one worker with fatal injuries.

At approximately 6 a.m. on October 18, emergency crews responded to the scene of a workplace accident in the 1500 block of West Hutchins Place. According to reports, a worker was utilizing a piece of heavy equipment. The worker turned the machinery on without realizing the machine was already in gear.

The machine moved forward and struck a second worker at the location. The worker sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
