Tyler County, TX – Katrena Kay Smith ID’d as US 190 Crash Victim
Tyler County, TX (October 18, 2019) – On October 17, at approximately 4:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US 190.
According to reports, an eastbound 2013 Chevrolet pickup truck collided with a 2004 Kia passenger vehicle at the intersection of Farm to Market Rd 1764.
The driver of the Kia, who was identified as 48-year-old Katrena Kay Smith, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The passenger inside the Kia, 42-year-old Marshall Tucker, was transported to an area hospital but refused medical treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
