Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
In 2017, statistics show that a pedestrian was killed every 88 minutes throughout the country. Most of these accidents occur when drivers are being careless on the road and not paying attention to their surroundings. For example, if a driver is looking down at their phone as they’re turning, they’re more prone to accidentally hitting a pedestrian.
Because elderly pedestrians have fragile bodies, it’s easy for them to sustain potentially life-threatening injuries. Sometimes their chances of surviving are slim depending on the impact of the crash.
When families lose loved ones in pedestrian accidents, they may be able to file wrongful death lawsuits against all responsible parties.
At The Benton Law Firm, we have helped thousands of families win their wrongful death lawsuits because we specialize in these types of claims. We have nearly two decades of experience with these lawsuits and understand how to win them despite their complexities.
