Premises Liability in Texas
Thousands of people lose their lives annually after falling from high areas throughout the country. When victims lose their lives on public property, families may qualify to file a premises liability lawsuit and a wrongful death lawsuit. Property owners are responsible for ensuring the safety of their establishment before allowing access to the public. They’re responsible for thoroughly inspecting their property to make sure there are no hazardous objects or areas. If there are, they are responsible for blocking off the hazardous section in order to keep others safe. When owners fail to do so, they are considered negligent and should be penalized.
At The Benton Law Firm, we have assisted families for years with both premise liability claims and wrongful death claims.
