Motorcycle Accidents in Texas
According to studies conducted in 2018, the lead cause of most fatal motorcycle accidents is distracted driving. When drivers don’t check their mirrors or surroundings as they back out of driveways, switch lanes, or make turns, they run the risk of accidentally striking oncoming motorcyclists.
Because it’s easier for motorcyclists to sustain critical injuries, their lives are more at risk than occupants in passenger vehicles.
When motorcyclists lose their lives in accidents they’re not at fault for, their families may be able to file wrongful death lawsuits to receive compensation for medical bills and other damages.
