Dawson County, TX – Bonnie Byrom Killed in TX-349 Collision

Dawson County, TX (October 22, 2019) – A collision on State Highway 349 resulted in fatal injuries.

On October 19, just after 9 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on TX-349. According to reports, a Toyota Camry and a Chevrolet Avalanche collided near the intersection of US Highway 87 and TX-349.

The driver of the Camry, who was later identified as 85-year-old Bonnie Byrom, was rushed to Medical Arts Hospital in Lamesa. Authorities confirmed that Byrom later succumbed to her injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
