Conroe, TX – Collision on TX-242 Leaves Pedestrian Fatally Injured
Conroe, TX (October 24, 2019) – Just after 6 a.m. on October 24, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Conroe EMS responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on State Highway 242.
Reports from the scene indicate that a pedestrian was traveling down the roadway, near the intersection of TX-242 and Lone Star Ranch Drive, when they were struck by an 18-wheeler.
The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the incident. Responding crews pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
