Burnet County, TX – 2 Injured in Train Accident on Hwy 29

Burnet County, TX (October 27, 2019) A train struck a vehicle on the afternoon of October 26th. The collision happened at Highway 29 and 258 at around 3:00 p.m.

When emergency responders arrived at the scene, they found the driver and passenger of the vehicle injured and rushed them both to the closest medical facility for treatment.

Crews removed the damaged vehicle from the area as police officers investigated the scene. Passengers on the train took pictures of the scene and forwarded them over to authorities.

The accident is still under investigation.
