Waco, TX – Rodolfo Guerra ID’d as Crash Victim on I-35
Waco, TX (October 28, 2019) – A major collision on I-35 claimed one victim’s life on Friday.
On October 25, the Waco Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 35.
According to reports, an SUV was attempting to merge onto the interstate, near mile marker 338, when it struck a construction sign. The impact caused the sign to fly into the roadway before being struck by a pickup.
After the sign was struck by the pickup, it went airborne. A metal piece of the sign went through the windshield of a Ford Focus, striking 55-year-old Rodolfo Guerra, who was the passenger in the vehicle.
Guerra was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The collision remains under investigation at this time.
