Rogers, TX – US-190 (FM 2184) Crash Victims Identified by Police

Rogers, TX (October 29, 2019) – The second driver killed in a collision on US-190 has been identified by police.

The Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on October 28. As per reports, a Chevrolet SUV and a Kia passenger car collided head-on along US Highway 190.

The driver of the Kia, who was identified as 48-year-old Alicia Shafer was killed instantly in the collision. The driver of the Chevrolet was also fatally injured. Police later identified the second driver as 51-year-old Patricia Annette Nellums.

One passenger inside the Chevrolet sustained critical injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Texas Department of Public Safety is currently investigating the collision.
