De Leon, TX – Diana Lynn Hughes Killed in TX-16 Collision

De Leon, TX (October 31, 2019) – At approximately 11:10 a.m. on October 28, a major collision occurred on State Highway 16.

As per reports, 71-year-old Diana Lynn Hughes was traveling south along the highway in a Ford Focus when her vehicle collided head-on with a 2016 Mack Truck.

Hughes sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was declared deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Mack truck, who was identified as 60-year-old Armando Deluno, was transported to Comanche County Medical Center for treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
