Temple, TX – Paul Pennington Succumbs to Injuries from S 1st St (TX- 290 Spur) Crash

Temple, TX (November 6, 2019) – Authorities confirmed the victim struck on South 1st Street has succumbed to his injuries.

Around 6:30 p.m. on November 4, emergency crews were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on South 1st Street. As per reports, a male pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway near the intersection of West Avenue H when he was struck by a white pickup truck.

The victim was rushed to an area hospital for treatment immediately after the collision.

Authorities later confirmed that the victim, who was identified as Paul Pennington, succumbed to his injuries at 10 p.m. on Monday.

At this time, police are continuing their investigation into this accident.
