Splendora, TX – Motorcyclist Injured in US-59 BUS Crash

Splendora, TX (November 29, 2019) – A collision on US Highway 59 left one person injured.

On November 26, authorities received reports of a motor vehicle accident on the northbound side of US 59. According to reports, a road rage driver was traveling down the roadway, in a white Tahoe.

The Tahoe struck the side of a Volkswagen Jetta, which had a man, woman, and child inside. After striking the Jetta, the Tahoe cut across all of the lanes of the freeway and struck a Harley Davidson motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle was ejected, sustaining serious injuries.

The motorcyclist was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.

No other person involved in this accident was injured.

The driver of the Tahoe was subsequently charged with aggravated assault and child endangerment.

At this time, police are investigating.
