San Angelo, TX – 2 Injured In Multi-Vehicle Accident On Sherwood Way
San Angelo, TX (December 7, 2019) Multiple vehicles collided at the intersection of Sherwood Way and Loop 306 Frontage Road on the afternoon of December 6th.
The crash occurred when a white Chevrolet Silverado was traveling westbound on Sherwood Way and hit a white dump truck that was speeding through a red light. As a result, the dump truck crashed into a silver Ford F-150, which caused that vehicle to rear-end a black Chevrolet Trax.
The paramedics arrived and found two people injured. One was an occupant inside of the F-150 and the other was the driver of the Trax. Both injured victims were rushed to Shannon Medical Center via ambulance.
The authorities are still investigating this accident.
We wish both of the injured victims a complete recovery. Our thoughts are with them and their families at this time.
Car Accidents in Texas
Recent studies prove that speed is the leading cause of accidents throughout Texas. Drivers who run red lights are often speeding due to road rage or impatience. As a result, thousands of accidents occur at intersections that otherwise could have been avoided. When drivers make negligent decisions on the road, they put themselves and others at risk of sustaining serious injuries or potentially losing their lives.
At The Benton Law Firm, our experienced Texas personal injury attorneys have spent nearly 20 years defending injured victims and helping them win their personal injury lawsuits against negligent parties. We believe in our clients’ rights, especially if they were not at fault for causing the accident that left them injured.
