Pharr, TX – Jose Luis Chavez Jr Killed & 1 Injured in Fire on N Tierra Dr
Pharr, TX (December 10, 2019) – A major house fire on North Tierra Drive claimed one victim’s life and left a second victim with serious injuries.
On Saturday, December 7, at approximately 7 a.m., authorities rushed to the scene of a house fire in the 800 block of North Tierra Drive.
According to reports, a fire broke out on the second floor of the home. Two victims, including a 35-year-old male and a female victim, were trapped inside the house.
The male victim who was identified as Jose Luis Chavez, Jr. was declared deceased at the scene.
The victim’s sister, who was also trapped inside the house, jumped out of the second-story window. She incurred serious injuries to her spine and was rushed to a hospital in San Antonio.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
