Laredo, TX – Antonio Esparza Killed in Crash on Lomas Del Sur Blvd
Laredo, TX (December 13, 2019) – A hit-and-run accident on Lomas Del Sur Boulevard claimed one man’s life on Tuesday.
On December 10th, 77-year-old Antonio Esparza was traveling down Lomas Del Sur Boulevard in a black 2005 Ford Explorer when his vehicle was struck by a 2003 Dodge Ram near the intersection with South Louisiana Avenue.
The Dodge Ram then fled the scene of the accident without stopping to render aid.
Esparza incurred fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
Authorities later identified the driver of the Dodge as 21-year-old Rigoberto Manuel Arevalo.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
