Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
In 2018, reports indicate that 76 percent of all pedestrian fatalities occurred at night throughout the country. Nighttime driving is a huge contributing factor because it’s harder for drivers to see pedestrians at night, especially if they’re wearing dark clothing and walking in unmarked crosswalks. Because drunk drivers are often on the road at night, they are also less likely to see pedestrians before it’s too late.
Families who lose loved ones in pedestrian accidents may have the right to file wrongful death lawsuits as long as their loved ones were not at fault for the accident. Although wrongful death lawsuits can be complex, our experienced Texas attorneys have spent years assisting families and helping them win their cases.
