San Antonio, TX – Cliff Martinez Killed In Hit-And-Run Accident At IHOP
San Antonio, TX (December 22, 2019) On the morning of December 21st, a fatal hit-and-run accident occurred at the IHOP on Hot Wells Blvd. According to reports, a San Antonio SAISD police officer was off-duty working at IHOP when two groups of men got into a brawl. The fight moved into the parking lot where the officer tried to break it up. One of the men assaulted him as he tried to stop the fight.
As the two men tried to flee the scene, they struck the officer with their vehicle, which left him pinned under. The accident took place at around 4:40 a.m.
When the paramedics and other crews arrived, they pronounced the officer dead at the scene. He has been identified as Cliff Martinez.
The police are still searching for the suspects who fled the scene.
